*Job Title: * *Senior Software Developer (Mobile Applications) Job Desc: * *Under the supervision of the Software Engineering Functional Manager the incumbent is a member of a team of software engineers responsible for providing the specification and architecture for new products, requirements analysis, as well as design and development of feasibility prototypes for integration into medical devices and systems.* *Major Tasks:* - *Development and design of software modules for incorporation into medical devices, which include both real-time embedded products as well as mobile device applications.* - *Provide detailed input to R&D team members regarding the technical feasibility of proposed designs, technical risks, and potential mitigation strategies.* - *Conceptual design and subsequent development of feasibility prototypes of system features and technology.* - *Deliver software solutions in support of full life-cycle implementation of software products and systems utilizing a structured, documented software development process and generally accepted software engineering methods.* - *Requirements specification and protocol API creation and subsequent maintenance of technical documentation in support of Medical Care quality system and process requirements.* - *Active participation in product development by providing/reviewing specification, risk assessment, cost and alternative options including supplier evaluation.* *Job Requirements:* *Position Requirements* - *Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with 2 plus years of experience, or MS with 1 plus years of experience* - *Proven prior experience in Development and design of software modules for mobile phone applications that communicate with medical devices over wireless protocols* - *Experience in Bluetooth (4.0 and above) communication protocols* - *Experience in Android application development* - *Experience in iOS application development* - *Experience in developing Webkit (Webview) modules for Android and iOS mobile platforms application development* - *Fluent programming/developing in ADK, Java, C, C++ language.* - *Fluent programming/developing in HTML5 and JavasScript.* - *Familiarity with and Objective-C programming* - *Deliver software algorithms in support of full life-cycle implementation of software products and systems utilizing a structured, documented software development process and generally accepted software engineering methods.* - *Proven record in full life cycle product development and delivery* - *Experience working with software development / requirements analysis tools such as XCode, Eclipse, Doors, Subversion, MKS etc.* - * Experience with test vector creation and algorithm verification.* - *Experience with Matlab modeling and algorithm development* - *Experience with Relational DBs, SQL, etc.* - *Experience with query performance optimization* - * Experience with creation of meta-data analysis algorithms on multiuser SQL Server databases* - *Experience working in cross functional, multi-site, global development teams* - *Must have good technical, written, and spoken communication skills.
