Interview Preference :* Skype* *Mandatory Skills : *Good understanding of Microsoft architectures, including Windows Server, IIS as related to a Microsoft Project Server implementation *Job Description :* The role of the MS Project Server 2010 Administrator is part of the EPPM Services team, and provides support to instances of Project Server at Merck, working closely with instance support teams in divisional IT. Responsibilities include: Resolution of user issues Granting user access Data maintenance and data quality issues Maintaining resource pools Perform ad‐hoc reporting Perform testing of new SW releases and patches Knowledge base updates Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the MSPS Administrator Experience: A practical understanding of Microsoft architectures, including Windows Server, IIS as related to a Microsoft Project Server implementation. Thorough working knowledge of configurations supporting SharePoint and Project Server 2010. Experience with day to day administration of Project Server and SharePoint 2010 including access permissions, browser and desktop application configuration, and user documentation Experience using Project Professional with Project Web Access and SharePoint Project Workspaces, and understanding the inter‐dependencies between the tools. Understanding and demonstrated use of best practices in the creation and use of Project Server’s Security Model (RBS, Groups, Categories). Qualifications: Three or more years of experience with Microsoft Project Server 2007/2010 and SharePoint technologies.
