Duration: 6 months - Contract JavaScript Developer (Mid-Senior) Do you enjoy learning new technologies, thinking outside the box, and collaborating with some of the top engineers in the country? Then this contract-to hire opportunity in Atlanta with remote ability is perfect for you! Our client is seeking a JavaScript engineer with strong development skills to help build out and enhance crucial high-profile applications for this global company. In this role, you will be converting mock ups from Product and Design groups into a highly optimized Angular/JavaScript, HTML and SASS project. You will also be designing and implementing solutions in a collaborative environment in order to increase the value of development efforts in the most cost efficient way. Candidates must have proven hands on development experience and detailed knowledge of Angular/JavaScript/HTML/SASS designs. In addition to development, you would also be responsible for defining, documenting and writing Unit Tests for front-end web technologies. Creating custom JavaScript libraries and utilizing 3rd party APIs. Writing fluid/liquid/responsive HTML and SASS that works across all three major platforms (phone, tablet, and desktop). Debugging utilizing tools such as Firebug and Fiddler. Working with general web internationalization, including Unicode, ICU, HTTP language/locale support. This is a high profile development position and this group is run like a West Coast development shop...so expect a lot of collaboration and knowledge sharing, white boarding and analyzing code.
