Ability to choose right tool for the problem at hand. · Expert in developing Dimensional Models which can bring together data from various sources to answer business questions · Clear understanding of limitations in building Data Warehouse in cloud and experience developing alternatives if needed · Experience with table distribution tuning in Azure SQL Data Warehouse · Experience using Data Management Views to understand and explain workloads · Understanding of Resource Class sizes to optimize Concurrency vs Query Performance issues · Experience designing and developing SSAS Tabular model in Azure for reporting needs · Expert knowledge in identifying right Indexing and Partitioning solutions to get optimized computing and storage in Azure SQL Warehouse · Experience maintaining Statistics manually for optimizing query plans · Experience modeling data for a Document Database.
