*Position: Data Modeler Developer* *Location: Fort Worth, TX* *Duration: 6-12 months+* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* • Expertise in development and maintenance of logical and physical data models along with best practices regarding metadata management. • Must demonstrate expertise in the development and maintenance of database procedures and triggers. • Must be able to propose and develop optimizations for existing physical data models• • Verbal and written communication skills. • Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to clearly articulate solution alternatives. • Experience in AGILE project management a plus. *Candidate must have 7 yrs relevant experience in the following areas*: • Must have demonstrated expertise in development and maintenance of logical and physical data models along with best practices regarding metadata management. • Prefer experience using ER/Studio Data Modeler, but will also consider relevant experience with another enterprise modeling tool. • Must be able to propose and develop optimizations for existing physical data models and provide a rationale for proposed changes to an audience with varying knowledge regarding the data modeling process. • Must have a broad understanding of development and administrative best practices for either the Oracle or SQL Server DBMS. • Must demonstrate expertise in the development and maintenance of database procedures and triggers. Will consider relevant experience in either PL/SQL or Transact-SQL.
