This is a very Sr. Level position and it requires a consultant with a very Broad range of knowledge to help design and implement technical requirements on new projects. MUST HAVES: • VMWare ESX\VSphere Virtualization Technologies (ESX 4.0 or greater, Virtual Center, P2V tools) • Excellent research skills • Relevant Operational and Project Experience • Technical documentation skills • Working Understanding of Virtualization and Cloud Technologies DESCRIPTION OF WORK: VMWare Engineer Support of VMWare ESX installations and projects. Essential Functions: To provide Level 3 support for Cardinal’s VMWare environments as well as assisting in the design and execution of new projects on this environment. Deep and broad knowledge of VMWare is required. Specific Duties: • Develop and implement technical solutions based on defined business requirements. • Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design and installation of new and existing computer systems. • Coordinate and manage tasks for numerous simultaneous projects related to VMWare • Research and test recurring problems, determine anomalies within supported software applications. • Train support teams and provide tier 3 support for environment when required. • Update and create technical product trouble-shooting documentation. • Perform special projects and assignments when necessary. • Provide development support to the infrastructure teams. • Performance tune as needed. This will include working closely with the other teams to administer performance testing as needed. III.
