*Position:- Web QA Analyst (Strong Communication skills)* *Location: Grapevine, TX* *Contract: 9 Months+* *MOI: Phone + F2F* As a Web Quality Assurance Analyst, you will become an expert in our flagship new web application and ensure that we provide our users with the best product possible. You’ll be the first to explore new software products and features and find ways to break them. You’ll apply your unique problem solving and technical skills to find, document, and report bugs. *Responsibilities: * · Become an expert in the web app that you are testing · Take ownership of the quality of the web app you are testing · Identify bugs by performing/writing functional, usability, compatibility, performance, and security testing · Create and execute manual and automated test plans used during the deploy cycle · Learn about our various products and understand how they work together · Work in a dynamic deploy cycle to test web apps and new product features · Work with the development team on testing requirements and implementation details · Develop thorough test plans, test specifications, test cases and/or test scripts for each software release based on defined testing standards. *The ideal candidate: * · Is an extremely detail-oriented and creative problem solver · Is a self-motivated worker who thrives and works well under deadlines · Is inquisitive and eager to learn in a dynamic and fast paced environment · Is intrigued by web technology and the Internet as a platform for opportunities and challenges · Wants to be an integral part of a team that delivers the highest quality product possible · Doesn’t shy away from expressing solutions and ideas for improvement · Enjoys working in a cross-functional work environment · Has an interest in how data is stored, displayed, and transmitted over the web *Requirements: * · Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to efficiently manage time · Ability to clearly communicate findings · Ability to take on commitments and adapt to rapidly changing requirements · Comfortable and confident with web technology · Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL · Basic understanding of ASP.NET and MVC fundamentals · Familiarity with the command line and scripting languages is a plus · Ability to work flexible/extended hours, including evenings and/or weekends as required.
