the barcode.
Does any one have suggestions on settings we can change to increase the
current number of characters? I have attached the sample java application
that we are doing our testing with.
Thank you.

Is there a limit on the amount of data one can add to the barcode? We have
been testing and we cannot seem to scan any barcode that contains more than
40 characters.
Thanks
Ewan Auguste
I will keep experiment see what we come up with.

That is the sample I have been using, we are currently running some tests.
Besides pixel ratio is there any other settings I can adjust to help
improve the read rate?
Thanks
Ewan Auguste
Thanks again for your assistance. I changed the ratio to 45 and that did
the trick. It did make the barcode pretty big but I will keep experimenting
until we get something that is more user friendly.
Thank you for the quick responses and the assistance, much appreciated.

I have being working on a proof of concept. I am using the sample code from
iText to generate a PDF417 barcode, however our Imaging group has not been
able to read the code I have created.
Are there any special settings I need to set for the code to ensure it can
be read using the CAPTIVA imaging
