Well, once again I have proven that it only takes little
to get lost big time.
It turned out my problem was that I forgot that the numbers
in Java-style Unicode escapes must be HEX!

does not like that. When I remove the the carriage return
and leave just line breaks, it renders OK.
So my question is if there's a way in iText to come over that
(without making sure that the carriage returns never reach my db)?

I noticed in iText0.50 release notes that if a row
does not fit into the full page, it is dropped. Is it
still so or is the row somehow split based on some
rules? If not then what's your suggestion for handling
such a situation.

I guess document.setPageSize() will not help me if I
do only one document.addElement() and that's when
I'm adding the root section.
