Hi, I use iText for many time, but i never use transparency. I use for example the class Transparency.java in http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial/ and changed to relate my problem.
The class attached, generate a PDF with two pages. In the first page are painted two squares with three circles inside of each one, and half of the square of a color and to another half of another color are painted. In none of the pictures and none of the circles any transparency is applied. Good, until here all certainty. In the second page, I applied the transparency at the moment to paint the circles of as squared. The problem that happens is that the colors of other objects that already were painted are different. You can perceive this sailing between pages 1 and 2 and verifying the circles of the first square. P.S.: I tested with version 1.4.8 and 2.0.0 of iText. Regards.
