I am working on an application which takes an existing pdf form and prepopulates it with data (I use iText to do that) and outputs that prepopulated form to the browser. The pdf form has some javascript included in it to perform auto tabbing on completion of fields. I have been able to get the relevant javascript function transferred across into the prepopulated form by use of String js = singlePDF.getJavaScript(); PdfStamper stamper = new PdfStamper(singlePDF, pdfStream); //prepopulate fields stamper.addJavaScript(js); However I cannot find any way that allows me to associate the javascript function with the text fields to which it is to be applied. Can it be done ? Ideally I want to copy across the existing javascript call for each field. Alternatively can I add a javascript action/event to the text fields using iText ? Any help would be much appreciated.
