I have a happily functioning MythTV (0.18.1) on an Asus Pundit, running
Fedora Core 3 (2.6.11-1.27_FC3) with a Hauppauge PVR-350 (NTSC). I'm using
the PVR-350's TV-Out to send MythTV's (composite) output to my home theater
system. The ivtv driver currently installed is version

Video-Frequencies-0.03.tar.gz and Video-ivtv-0.13.tar.gz into it.

A lot comes down to how accurately things sync up.
Have you enabled the real time clock as recommended when mplayer starts (if
it's not there)?
What CPU do you have?
You could mail me the output of mplayer xine if you like which might give
some clues as to what is happening.

firmware versions work for all cards supported by ivtv. I've also have one
confirmed case where the latest audio firmware fixes slow or no audio

usage in ivtv-fileops...
