Another change not in the kernel msp3400 driver was the msp3400c_setvolume patch (it should be vol * 0x7F not vol * 0x73 at least according to what I've seen). This patch when using the ivtv msp3400 version should do nothing, with the kernel ivtv recordings will be quieter. -- Anduin Withers
