Thanks for all the responses, I have tried many different clients, some of
them worked some of them not. Pidgin on Ubuntu neither worked plain text nor
SASL. But it works fine on windows. Is there anyway which I can compile
Jabberd2 with cyrus-sasl instead of gsasl ?

Hi list,
I have compiled installed and installed jabberd2.1.17 on a linux running
CentOs 4.4. The server is up and running, I have also successfully
registered to the the server but I cannot login to the server. The debug
output tells me the input can not be decrypted by SASL.
Any idea ?
