*Location: Salt Lake City, UT* *Duration: 1 Year Contract* *Rate: $40/hr* Sr SQA consultant with eight years of experience in QA and five years of experience in healthcare such has hospital. Please do not submit candidates with out health care experience. Skills: *creating test ideas, test cases, and evaluating test efforts, Oracle, Toad, and XMLSpy.* *REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS*: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience performing software developmentor verification and validation activities including requirements and design verification and test procedure development. It is desirable that the candidate has either large health care system experience or experience working within the VA. Working directly with the VA customer and other vendors, the candidate must have demonstrated ability to: Follow approved executive directives, SOPs, and guidance documents in support of development and SQA activities. Monitor all Stage One through Stage Three SQA activities to ensure that they are completed to the level of detail agreed to by the project manager prior to the start of software design. *Execute testing as specified in the master test plan and ensure that all findings and test incidences are reported.* *Perform SQA activities in the course of the software development to ensure compliance with all executive directives, SOPs, guidance documents, and the TPWG All OI Test Process documents.* Be able to create test ideas and test cases based on requirements and design documents. Experience testing client server software in a healthcare environment. Experience creating test ideas, test cases, and evaluating test efforts. Experience with Oracle, Toad, and XMLSpy. Demonstrated experience with complex clinical interfaces; for example VA to DoD; private clinical laboratory with large healthcare system. Must have a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
