I don't see point in doing certification by spending your own money.If you are
working then your empolyer will sponser you.
I did SCJP in 2001.But I didn't see any benefit in doing it.

I disagree with you that one needs to Learn Servlets before going to JSP.Coz
the reason JSP was developed was to help Page designers who know html and were
supposed to learn bit of JSP to get work done.
If you see JSP internally converted by JSP Enginer to Servlets.

No I don't think so.There is no match between JDeveloper and Netbeans.It
