Again my thanks. This is just to report that---as I should have guessed---I could not get the Caldera jdk rpm to work. I am now slowly downloading the tarball of Sun's JDK 1.2.2. Just out of curiosity at the moment, what is the status of open source versions or clones of Java? -- Peter D. Jun
