Hi all,
I am using (linux) Netscape 4.73 with the Java Plugin (version 1.3 I
basically just downloaded this version from the Blackdown web site) and I
try to get rid of the java console. the problem is that it always comes up
when netscape and the applet is first loaded no matter how I set it up

There is, as far as I know, no public version of Java running on
IA64 Linux.

IBM has already released theire JDK for Win64/Itanium.
