Has anyone gotten servlets working with JDK 1.1.6? I grabbed the JSDK from Sun so I could get the Servlet API, which comes in the form of a jar file. I guess my question is, where do I place this jar file so everything works? or is there another procedure I have to use..

I've been running the Java version of ICQ and AOL's Instant Messenger on a Linux system with JDK 1.1.6 and both programs have been "loosing windows". For example, when you go to send someone a message in ICQ, the window flashes up on the screen and then disappears. This seems to happen with some
