I'm running Blackdown JRE 1.3.1 on a Compaq Ipaq (strongARM). The
operating system is Familiar v0.4.
Java needs to talk to the serial port of the Ipaq, so I need the Java
Communications API. Any links to javax.comm for Linux/StrongARM?

Thanks for the previous tip on how to install the JRE on a CF-card. I've
now installed Familiar v.0.4 and Blackdown JRE 1.3.1 RC1 on a Compaq Ipaq
(16 MB flash-ROM, JRE on pcmcia CF-card). So far, so good.
But after I've installed "additional-ipaq-stuff.tar.gz" everything starts
to go downh

My question is about the possibilities of installing Blackdown 1.3.1 on a
CF pcmcia storage device on a Compaq Ipaq. Can it be done?
