Apllet not running in IE ,JDBC exception with MySQL

Hi, I am using an applet which has backend connectivity to a MySQL database running on a Linux server.I am using exgwe JDBC driver.The applet is running fine in Netscape but in Internet Explorer it is throwing exceptions.I have the stack trace below.Can anybody help me.
