just a quick note (I'm running java_ns version "Linux_JDK_1.1.6_v1"):
rmiregistry tries to run "java" even tho I have NS_JAVA set to 1. I had to modify
the script to start "java_ns" instead.
Could you change this erroneous behavior in a fu
