I've been reading the list for a bit and I have a quick question. Is the Black Down porting effort primarily focussed on porting the JDK or does it also include porting some of the extensions (javax) APIs defined by JavaSoft, such as the Communications API? I assume this is a dumb question, but I couldn't find any sort of mission statement or whatever on the website so I thought I'd ask. I have a keen interest in this particular API under Linux, so I thought briefly about porting it myself. But then I figured I should ask some of big porting efforts out there to see if someone else was already doing this first. Thanks and keep up the GREAT work! Thomas Dorris Software Foundations, Inc.
