I have Slackware 7.0 and installed jdk-1_2_2-RC3-linux-i386.sh and jdk-1_2_2-RC3-linux-i386.sh. When I start "java -jar Notepad.jar", I receive the message from font.Properties that the dingbat font is not found. I have font.Properties and font.Properties.tt.
