Yes this is a horrible side effect of a fix for key press/key release events requested by an ISVs http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4371923.html It is committed to be fixed regards calvin Juergen Kreileder wrote: > > > "Joi" == Joi Ellis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: >

Certain keys do not work with Java

2000-10-30 Thread Christoph Schönfeld
I have installed JBuilder 4 on RedHat 6.2 and noticed that I can not type certain characters, such as *,+,?,\,', etc. This does not seem to be a RedHat problem though - I could reproduce it with Debian/Woody and Forte for Java. I use Sun's JDK 1.3 in both cases. Any ideas would be great Thanks,
