Dear friends: Thanks a lot for the information replying my JDBC question. I tried to install Java1.1.6_v5 on my linux box on the dircetary of /usr/local/jdk116_v5. So I set the PATH as /usr/local/jdk116_v5 and the CLASSPATH=/usr/local/jdk116_v5/lib/classes.zip (follow the procedure of the doc.) However when I use the javac or java, I always get "segment fault". What's the problem? and how can I solve the problem. BTW, when I install JAVA 116_v5, I just can't find out the DEMO directary. I download jdk_116_v5.tar.gz from www.blackdown.org, and uncompress it. Do I miss something? Sorry, I get a lot of problem to bother you. Thanks you guys kindly help.
