steve, or whoever is reading this, there used to be a web site,
www.java-linux.org or www.linux-java.org (I don't remember which) that
served as the homepage for the port of Java to Linux. what happened?

Could someone explain to me (a newcomer) why there was appearently a big
shift from blackdown.org to java-linux.org and then back to blackdown.org
and now java-linux.org seems to be down?
