I just download and install jdk1.1.6 at /usr/local/jdk1.1.6/.
I read the README.linux file and I did everything it is said there.
I added to the PATH the bin dir: "/usr/local/jdk1.1.6/bin".
Now, when I try to run javac I get the following error message:
$ javac CFFCT.java
/usr/local/jdk1.1
