Check
/usr/lib/j2se/version/ (e.g. /usr/lib/j2se/1.3/)
or
/usr/lib/j2se/ (e.g. /usr/lib/j2se1.3)

I have just installed Blackdowns packages by following the instructions at
http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/debian-java-faq/ch8.html installation didn't seem to
complain about any problems but I can't seem to find out where everthing was
installed. Anyone used the Debian packages?
