Fails just as the SN glibc port. Segfault attributed to
segfault dl-runtime.c::_dl_lookup_symbol on a
call to open( char*, int), only change in the C
application is adding "-ljava" to "-ldl"

It does not fix the InetAddr.getLocalHost() problem as that problem seems
to be a general glibc problem. See
