Hi Brian, I think there has been some work done in the past (see [1]) about this but I am not sure where it stands as of now. To be honest with you I am also interested to hear if axis 1.5.1 or 1.6 has switched to HttpClient 4.1 I hope someone from the developers can comment on this thread. Geo
