I was never comparing statistics for comparison's sake,
Helicopters especially, and General Aviation has an undeserved
reputation of being unsafe, which is false,
so I was trying to explain that it is indeed safe.

Statistically, fixed wing is safer than rotating wing. That said, flying is
the second safest way you can travel (walking included)
