on the download page i think it tells you 7.1 is only for X P only. You have to use 6.1 or earlier. Jeff - Original Message - From: Stu [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 12:16 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws help question

I believe you are referring to IE 7.0, not windows XP. XP support goes all the way back to 4.51 actually. IE 7 support just started in 7.1. David Ferrin Consciousness is that annoying time between naps. - Original Message - From: Jeffrey Greenlee [EMAIL PROTECTED] To:

I also think that is correct because when I first started using XP back in 2002 when my mom and dad bought our first home PC for the family, I was using a demo of jaws 4.02 with XP . Jeff - Original Message - From: Christopher Hallsworth [EMAIL PROTECTED] To:

Have you tried pressing ctrl tab to move between the different pages while in Jaws help? If not, then try it and see if that solves your problem. The page you should be on if you want to view the different books and topics in the Tree View is the contents page. HTH Jeff - Original Message

Go back to at highest JAWS7.0 and try that. (there is a specific non-XP download - for Windows 98 and Millennium.) 7.1 saw the introduction of the JAWS update feature which depends on the OS being (at least) Windows XP. 7.10 is not for anything lower than Windows XP. - Original Message
