Hi. I had exactly the same thing happen. My solution was to use restore points and then tell the update program not to bug me about this update again. If I want to use this fix and then get the update how do I get it back? Or should I do the update first and then get the fix? Regards. Max

Hi Victor. Live one care has its own firewall and it disables the windows firewall. I have looked in the firewall configuration but I can't find how to change it. Some of that has to do with how hard it is to use with jaws. But even with sighted help I couldn't figure it out. Regards. Max.

Thanks David. First I can tell you that windows live one care is not easy to use with jaws. I mostly have to use the jaws cursor and sometimes I get a smaller window open in front of the main one and jaws reads fragments of lines along with what I want to hear. I have learned to filter that

Hi all. I just got my CD and installed jaws 8.0. I am happy with eloquence so I didn't mess with the extra voices. When I press the control key to stop jaws from talking there is that little bong sound indicating an error. But there is no error message, just the bong. Some times this happen
