Do you have it set to empty the deleted items folder on exit?
If so, they should be removed when you exit Outlook.

Are those folders that were moved to the Deleted Items folder empty? If
not you may want to clean them out first.
Also, under the FILE pull down menu in the main Outlook Express screen
there is a Folders item, select that and follow the dialog so you can rid
yourself of those deleted
Hi, Every so often when I close Outlook Express, it asks me if I want to
compact, but what is the command to tell it to do it?
