Hey David,
Greetings all,
I acquired a new client that is currently using Dragon and is interested in
learning JAWS. The only problem is that I never had the opportunity to use
dragon or Jawbone and please correct me if I was miss informed, you need
Jawbone in order to bridge Dragon and JAWS. So, my
Greetings folks, I found the below info on the FS web site at:
http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_downloads/jaws.asp#skip
Note: JAWS 8.0 or later does not support Windows 98 or ME. If your computer
runs either operating system, you should use JAWS version 7.X or earlier
instead.

I have Popcorn on a flash drive and use it when I visit my inlaws. It's not
OE, but it certainly is easier then using the Verizon mail page to receive
my messages.

Are you using numpad 1 or number row 1? insert plus the number row 1 toggles
keyboard help on and off.

Now, is both items bundled together or seperate programs?
Does one need to have one to have the other to work?

I agree with David, JAWS 7.0 certainly was one of the most stable versions
in my opinion.

I used the program several years ago and found it to be some what JAWS user
friendly . If I recall correctly, you can access most of the functions thru
the menu's on the menu bar. I don't have the program any longer, so,
hopefully some one else is using the program on this list and if not,
John,
Glad to be of assistants, however, keep in mind, the adobe 8 download notes
probably won't work for the next version of adobe that is released. Things like
the website address and setup procedure most likely will be different.

The JAWS bypass key command is Insert plus number row 3 not numpad 3. Hope
this helps.

The insert Plus number row 3 bypass key command only allows one key to be
past thru. If you need to pass another one thru you must perform the bypass
key command again.

Greetings Andy,
I found the below info in the JAWS help menu.

JAWS detects when you move into, out of, and within a table (from row to row
or column to column) and even warns you when you TAB into the last cell.
JAWS
also indicates when the number of columns changes
Greetings All, Was wondering if any one could answer the below question
from a friend. He is using XP with JAWS and MS Word 2003.
How would one go about printing business cards with a computer and a printer?
Is there a program for doing such a thing?
Thanks,
Andrew
It is my understanding that the only way to get the voices is to purchase JAWS
8 and you then will receive a CD with the real speak voices along with the JAWS
CD.

Thanks Andrew, that worked like a champ!
Greetings all,
I downloaded Windows Media player 11, and found that F9 and F10 no
longer work to control the volume of a file. Any and all suggestions are
welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Yes, that does work. I looked at the JAWS hot key list for Windows Media
player and it said F9 and F10. But you are correct it is now F8 and F9.
Thanks,
