Maybe uncheck in the same area for changing it from characters in users options and uncheck the reading interrupt and the key repeat I think that's what's there I don't have it open as of this moment, but from using that program in the past one or both of those had to be unchecked.. [JAWS-Users] Re: Window Live
Does it say the characters as you type them? _ From: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Patti Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2007 7:54 PM To: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re: Window Live Hey Denny, I did all that, but it still will not say the letters that I used my backspace on, so now what do I do? If you just want to change it on the fly, do an insert 2. That will cycle between characters, word, none and bothe characters and word, but it will not stay that way. If you want it changed permanantly, while in Windows Live, do an insert f2. Arrow down to configuration and press enter. Do an alt s for settings. Press enter on, user. Tab to, typing echo and press your arrow key to characters and press enter. Do a control s to save and alt f4.
