messenger work with jaws

the yahoo scripts from
the scripts page. Then, go to your jaws shared
settings folder by going to
the start menu, programs, jaws eight, explore jaws,

My understanding is that this version is entirely inaccessible to screen

Hi,

Also try checking out the Jaws help system as it's a great reference to
these things. Also try pressing Jaws key + H on the message window and it
will give you a lot of useful info as to what the scripts will do for you.

I'm finding I get a 3 to 5 second delay between pressing the spacebar to

Hello all. I have a question about changing a keystroke, if possible. In jaws

Hi, I noticed this with JAWS 8 on my XP laptop. Don't have PowerPoint here
on this Vista laptop, so can't try it out for the moment with JAWS 9. It's
probably due to JAWS loading the information into the virtual PC cursor,
which is used when viewing slide shows. Hope that helps.

It seems that the names of these math ASCII symbols are available or modifiable
in a Jaws file called eloq.sbl. I take it that this is a pronunciation file of
some sort anyone know what it is and which manager opens it?
Thanks.

The only other suggestion I would have is to do a find for that keystroke.
While in the list of keyboard commands for that application, do a control f
and perform the keystroke for the function you want to find.
For example, you can do a control f and then do your control scroll lock f10
and then
Using XP and JAWS 9, replying directly to sender works for me by pressing
shift plus JAWS key plus R within an open message.

Dale,
Correct. Eloq.sbl isn't opened in a manager, you can use Notepad. I
think it started with JAWS 5, but help on it doesn't appear until
version 6 (look under Using JAWS, Voice settings, for a topic called
Adding Speech for special symbols).
