Hi all. I'm using the latest jaws ten, and windows vista sixty four bit, on a
Dell XPS studio laptop. If I click computer, and i hit down or up arrow, jaws
won't read the list. This is the only list view it does this, soi don't know
what's going on. thanks for any help.

I find this frustrating too.
I've noted difficulties with the spell checker when I previously used
Office 2000, and previous versions of JAWS as well.
So I'm sorry I know of no fix, but I suspect it's something FS would have
to work on.
Have you communicated with their tech support?
Is the preview pane turned on?

Hello. Today and other days I go to turn on the computer and all it does is
say two sharp beeps. Has anybody had this experience? And do you know why
the windows chime and jaws may not come up? I have had this happen a few
times. Today asked for refresh from Comcast in case that would help, and
hearing beeps during the boot cycle means that something failed the self
text, probably a hardware device.

managed to get jaws 10 on my computer by downloading it from FS site. Not
sure why this method worked and installing using the cd did not. That is for
others more clever than I to figure out.

start JAWS automatically checked, I have to use my hotkey to get JAWS to
start.
