You do have a point there that does deserve consideration, thank you. Some

it takes me ages to tab round through to the files within the folder.
does anyone know what I mean?

Actually it was 2 gigs of ram and I think I have like 80 gigs of my hd free.

Actually it's fine, what I should have said was that the debate was over.
Sorry about that because the discussion about Vista itself is perfectly all
right. It was the first thing this morning and I was a pot of coffee short.
Discuss Vista all you want so long as it's constructive.

I've been using skype4 ever since it was in beta late last year and it's
been great. Sure, the interface is a bit to get used to but it's not that
bad really once you've been with it for a while. Also, you can go to the
view menu and select compact mode, this will restore skype to popping up
Actually, Skype 4.1 is both out, and the JAWS scripts are now officially
out. for those who wish to upgrade, feel free. I'm about to upgrade to
the official version of the scripts.

hi Brian

I'm not a Jaws script writer, however, it sounds to me as if one of
the programs you tried, the one that worked with Jaws, might still
work if a Jaws script was specifically built for it. I'm sure you
could find Jaws script developers on this list, or at least learn

hi John
this is very strange as I have just found folder size in the context menu.
I haven't changed any folder options at all for vista.
