How do I successfully take screenshots with JAWS? I do not have any vision
so cannot enlarge the screen to see any details.

It's the "automatic notification of updates" checkbox , in the JAWS
basic submenu or dialogue. Go down about three times from the beginning
there, and you should find it. Check it with SPACEBAR.

I had a bit of a scare for some odd reason. the 64-bit wouldn't even
come down from the check for updates.
but, when i manually downloaded it from the website. suddently
something happened like it woke up and it said, another version is
currently being installed. that, was weirdsville!.

If you go into your Gmail account on line, try looking in "all mail". You
might want to quickly check your inbox there, as well as the spam folder and
the trash. Trash is emptied every 30 days, so if the original was sent
longer ago than that, it won't be there, and I can't guaranty that
so, if I copy the chart, and paste it on to a note pad page, and then copy
that page, and paste it on word, it will be out of the table mode?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean "out of its table mode". If you have a
table on a webpage, you can copy it into Word or into Excel and then do
various things with it. For example, I just had a webpage table of contact
info from which I needed to extract E-mail addresses for a group message
I use to use that and really had no complaints. I switched to vipre. They
have 24 hour support where nod32 had non on wekends. I also think that nod32
charges if they have to help. I did have a little problem setting up the
vipre firewall. It did block one attack.

Some notebook computers Like the Toshiba one I have, have an utility that
will change the way the function keys work, changing them to work as normal
function keys.(f1-f12) Try a google search on the model you have specifying
function keys or if the user manual is accessible check that out.
