Mike, thanks again. What they tried in the attached email worked. I
highlighted the attachment, did alt F, arrowed down to save attachment and

Hi Judy,
Are any curiosity questions appropriate here, since El Braille also uses
Jaws?

Hi Judy,
Maybe if you save the attachments to, let's say, your My Documents folder
you could read them there. See if the thread below will help any. It talks
about Outlook 2010, but the same options might be available to your version.

Hi Judy,
I don't use Outlook, but try doing this: With the email open, Shift + Tab,
to the Attachment field, now use your left / right arrow keys to highlight
the attachment you would like to open, & press enter to open it.
Take care.

The KNFB Windows app has a file explorer function where you can select a
file to perform OCR on. You can also save the OCR results into an
alternative format.

Yes, but I was thinking about being on the go where a camera is much more
portable. It's an excellent development for mobile scanning.

Hey Jorge,
Did you see my email a while back explaining that when you were in the

I was under the impression that the knfb W10 app worked on pc's that had a
working camera built into the pc or a external camera. I don't think you are
using the knfb iPhone camera to snap a picture,
Honestly, the only way to experience the thrill is to have the knfb for w10
You can also use a flatbed scanner.

Sorry to belabor this, and also to be catching up on messages in reverse
chronological order, but for inaccessible documents, you have JAWS' built-in
OCR feature. I guess using the KNFB Reader as a windows 10 app would save the
step of transferring files from the iPhone to the PC.

Kimsan,
I know you have an iPhone. There, the KNFB Reader app uses the iPhone's camera.
No need for another device. But obviously you know this.

Yes, just call FS tech support and ask them to send you the file so you can
update your dongle.
They will send a file along with instructions. I probably have had a dongle
that long as well and it has been updated several times. When I renew my SMA
this fall it will get updated again.
