You have to un install and then reinstall using the new number.

You don't enter the serial number when you install. it isn't on the
install disk. The old one is hiding somewhere in the computers brain
and it won't go away--like one of those songs that get stuck in your
head, for hours.

Anne, just a thought: is your copy a JAWS Home or a professional edition? If
it's JAWS home, it won't work with XP professional.

will come up. Now the new number can be put in.
