Hi Mike, Thanks for that.

Now my other query. Can FSReader 3.0 open a DAISY book (it is probably non-audio) folder? JAWS will read all in the files. (Where the files are .SMIL or HTML.)

Hi

In Windows 7, open the start menu and type file association in the search
box. Several choices will appear. The one I have used is change the file
type associated with a file extension. Just find the file extension you
want and then press enter on change program. Another of the choices is make
a file type always start with a specific program, which I have not used.

Hi,

I was looking at the documentation as a preview to possibly purchasing
Leasey. I thought FSReader should be able to see the DAISY books
(daisybooks2) which comprise the manual, but it wasn't. (I was hoping to
choose FSReader to read DAISY materials other than JAWS training, but
instead, I had Adobe Reader as the program which I didn't mean to select,
now trying to open the aforesaid DAISY2 Manual.)

So this leads me to another question.

I'm using Windows7. How do I change the file association so that Adobe
Reader won't try to open such files (that it can't read anyway)? (It used to
be possible via the File Types tab in the Windows Explorer Tools menu; but
that doesn't exist in Win7.)

Hello,
I just recently purchased LEASEY Advanced myself due to the sale. I am
finding it to work well. I like the LEASEY Select features myself. I am also
looking forward to the improvements in version 2 which is due out sometime
this month. I have not delved into many of the features yet since I just
recently purchased it. You do get a lot for the money.

Hi All,

Has anyone used LEASEY with JAWS? I'm considering buying the advanced
version while it's on sale. I really need the clips feature as the
Office clipboard seems to wreak havoc on the Braille display. I used
these before in JTools and really liked them. I just want to know if
there are other features people really like and how they have used
them. I want to get the most out of it for my money.
