Regarding browsing in itunes 11:

It really is not complicated as it is just a matter of getting use to
another way of doing something. Sometimes change seems worse than what it
really is. Give it a try as you might like it. Good luck!

The steps Jim gave were very helpful to me. Thanks jim.

It still sounds complicated!

I used to simply press alt-s for the store menu, select the home option,
press f6 to search for something specific type in whatever I wanted and
press enter. Then you would get the list of results. But the only option
there seems to be to buy songs and not to preview them?

Hi again, here are the steps on previewing songs in itunes 11.
Press control+s, brings up the tree view.
Arrow down to itunes store, give it a few seconds to update.
Press the letter h, for heading, 8 times until you get to the heading, quick
links, or insert+f6 and down arrow to the quick links heading and press
enter.
Press the downarrow 16 times until you get to the browse link, or press
insert+f7 to bring up links list at that point and press the letter b
insert+for
browse followed by the enter key.
Now if you are looking for music, downarrow in this list box to music.
Now tab and you are in a list box of different kinds of music, now downarrow
to the kind you want to see.
Now tab again to the next list box, if you chose country in the last list,
now you can choose what kind of country you want to look at.
Now tab again to the artest list and use first letter navigation or just
press the downarrow to the artest that you wish to look at.
Now tab again to the album list, again use the first letter or just
downarrow to the album that you want to hear.
Now tab again to the song list, press enter to start the preview of the
song, press spacebar to stop the preview.
You can shift tab at any time to change the different list of options, this
is a great and fast way to search through and preview all of your favorite
kinds of music and your favorite artist.
if you want to buy a certain song while in the list of songs, press the
applications key and arrow down to buy song.
the only thing I have not yet figured out is how to buy the album from this
list.
What you can do is copy the name of the album and paiste it into itunes
store search edit and go to the buy album button on the page, for that
album.
I hope this has helped to clearify how to browse in itunes 11, thank you
again Graham...

Hi Damien,

It simply means that the free service is full to capacity, and so you'll
have to try later.

Keep trying though, it'll come available at some point.

I read on this list that to solve this issue, one should update outlook 2010
via the check for updates in the file menu. I did so and installed all the
available updates, yet the Current Version is :14.0.4734.1000. I'm made to
understand that after the updates, the Expected version should be
:14.0.6117.5001 , but the version remained unchanged, and the issue
persists. Still trying though, but don't really know what to do!

You sure its jaws locking you up and not something like virus protection?

Hi all,

running win7 64 home premium with professional jfw.

two issues I've found.

These are both after restarting the pc after the update was installed
successfully.

1. you are unable to use insert f11 to get to the system tray, it just
doesn't open the list of items.

2. I have a htm file with all my contacts, if i use an insert f to find a
contact the dialogue doesn't open.

Both these things were working yesterday before installing the new update.

I haven't installed any new software prior to update.

I am running as administrator when installing update.
