After making any of the above changes it is a good idea to restart Word

Try this:
Press Alt + P, PG to open the paragraph options box.
Press Alt + A to move the focus to the Line Spacing At box and enter the number
1.
Press TAB to move the focus to the Defaults

Hi Everyone.
I press the application key in Word 2010 and press P to go to paragraph.
Then I change the space to single. But it still does not type in single line
spacing. Then I went back into the paragraph dialog box and
I then put a 1 in the At box and check the box that said not to space
