Yes, it is a victory!! In my version of windows 7 at the hospital, I found that PDF Creator was there. After adding it to my printers, I was able to print the tiff files with the pdf creator and then JAWS would conveniently ask me if I wanted to OCR. Doing things this way got JAWS to ocr all of

Do you think the budget could stretch to accommodate an OCR package for you? I don't think it'd have to be anything too fancy or expensive. Abbyy Finereader would probably do the trick. Then you could import all the .tifs into the programme and oCR them as if you had scanned them yourself. I'm
