I used a PowerBraille on a computer with a serial to USB cable for years.
It was a bit wonky getting it set up, but once set up, it worked
flawlessly for years.

I have been trying to get a braille embosser connected to my computer
through an USB adapter and have never actually managed to get the system to
work. So, I am all ears on how to cause the USB adapter to function in a way

Hi folks, The subject line, pretty much says it all. Are any of you using a
power Braille display with a laptop? If so, did you need to get some kind of a
cord that would convert a serial/parallel unit work with a USB device?
Thank you very much for any answers! Vicky
