I should clarify something I said, below. the guy who puts together the
paper in the .pdf says that it would be very difficult to do it according to
the accessibility guidelines etc., which I referred him to, because he doing
it on an Apple mac with associated software. Thus, links (where they
appear) are not properly formatted HTML. The most important thing, however,
is that JAWS can read it for me.

latestJAWS9updatecopyingtoclipboard from PDF not working

Hi John and List,

Perhaps I should clarify a bit what my problem actually is. I was trying to
select some lines of text from the page. (This is a large page, newspaper
style.) I am able to select all with ctrl-a and copy that to the clipboard
for pasting. (I had to set the view to one page at a time, because the page
is large.) In the past, though, I was able to just select a few lines, copy
them, and paste. I found that the virtual window just gave me information
about where I was in the document, and the Find function which I'd just
used. I am reading the file after having downloaded it. Unfortunately, the
pdf document was not put together accessibly, (being done on an Apple mac
and converted to windows afterwards), thus my reason for changing how it
hanndles page reading (as above). It is my local paper, full (paid) edition
each week. .

Fllor, we have a similar problem at FedEx. The way we have found that works
is virtualizing the window. You probably already know this command but just
in case, it's Control Insert W. From that point on you can copy and paste
anything. I hope it works for you as it does with our .PDF
documentation.
Let us know if it solves your problem.

John Justice
