I had trouble with this, also. I went to i e tools, to options, to the
content page and arrowed down. I unchecked all four items: ssl ,and the
three auto ones. Voila! No more filling in search itmes. marilyn

How can I get the browser from automatically putting in addresses I don't
want? I go to paste in an address and another comes up instead and it
ignores the one I just tried to paste. It is driving me nuts. I would like
to have it come up without any history at all. thanks.
